We're partnering with the Three Dollar Bill Cinema to bring you an evening of speed dating and films: Two of our favorite things! Begin the evening with "Queer Fast Flirting" (meet queer friends or dates of all genders) and finish the evening w/a selection of "Date Night" Short Films. Let's ring in Valentine's Day with a bang. 5 pm - Fast Flirting 7 pm - Date Night Short Films (of the queer variety) How fast flirting works: Prior to the event you will receive an email and a text message with a link to your profile. If for some reason you do not recieve an email or text, there is no need to worry. You will be able to give the event host the information when you check in at the time of the event. In your profile you will be asked to provide 2 short answers related to where you feel you fall on the masculine/feminine spectrum and where your preferred date falls on the same spectrum. Plus you will include the preferred age preference of your date. The algorithm is designed to match your preferences as best as it can given who is in attendance and their preferences of course. After each 5-7 minute round, you will receive a text message directing you to your next date. The more women that attend, the better! And while it’s not full matchmaking, this text messaging technology allows a more tailored experience than random, public speed dating. At the end of each date, you’ll add “feedback” about your date (“2nd date,” or “friend” or "business").
