How "Single Mingle" Works Prior to the event you will receive an email and a text message with a link to your *confidential* speed dating profile. In your profile, you will be asked to provide 2 short answers related to where you feel you fall on the masculine/feminine spectrum and where your preferred date falls on the same spectrum. You'll also add your birthdate and the preferred age-range of your date. Our simple texting algorithm is designed to match your preferences as best as it can give who is in attendance and their preferences. After each 5-7 minute round, you will receive a text message directing you to your next date. The more women that attend, the better! And while it’s not full matchmaking, this text messaging technology allows a more tailored experience than random, public speed dating. At the end of each date, you’ll add “feedback” about your date (“2nd date,” or “friend” or "business"). When two singles indicate the same level of interest, we email you both with contact information within 24 hours. This event is also a benefit for SheFest.
