Our Big Singles Bash has become one of Boston’s favorite ways to meet someone off the apps and we’re finally bringing the series to the 40+ crowd! Same smart design, same playful structured chaos, same “social experiment disguised as a party” energy.
On Oct 6th, we’re taking over Hopothecary for a one-night-only Big Singles Bash: 40+ Edition, with smart, warm, emotionally available singles from around Boston.
This isn’t speed dating or another awkward mixer. It’s a social experiment disguised as a party: psychology-backed, built by scientists and matchmakers, and designed around what actually helps people connect beyond a profile or a canned first-date conversation.
You’ll move through a series of flirty, fast-paced games and curated conversations designed to help you get past the usual script. Meet people outside your routine, challenge your “type,” and have conversations with someone you might not have crossed paths with otherwise. This event structure draws in open minded, interesting, and emotially available people - all by design!
You’ll get to talk to a lot of people, but nothing is forced. Every activity is optional and designed to give you an easy way in, not put you on the spot. Whether you’re an overthinker, a slow burner, newly single, or simply tired of the apps, you’ll have a place here.
