Are you a lesbian/bi-identified person wanting to meet more like you? Then this event is just for you. Our successful style of Lesbian/Bi/Queer “Single Mingle” will have you meeting up to 20 women, in one afternoon, all real. Specifically for women age 50 and over, this event is open to all women looking for a woman lover. We are doing to more age-specific events because the women are asking for them. This is not meant to exclude you. If you are interested, in any way, to meeting women in their 50’s, please attend. We are TRANS-INCLUSIVE. This event is open to all queer women/lesbian-identified genderqueer and nonbinary folks. How Single Mingle Works: Prior to the event, you will receive an email and a text message with a link to your profile. If for some reason you do not receive an email or text, there is no need to worry. You will be able to give the event host the information when you check in at the time of the event. In your profile, you will be asked to provide 2 short answers related to where you feel you fall on the masculine/feminine spectrum and where your preferred date falls on the same spectrum. Plus you will include the preferred age preference of your date. The algorithm is designed to match your preferences as best as it can given who is in attendance and their preferences of course. After each 5-7 minute round, you will receive a text message directing you to your next date. The more women that attend, the better! And while it’s not full matchmaking, this text messaging technology allows a more tailored experience than random, public speed dating. How You Are Matched After the Event: At the end of each date, you’ll add “feedback” about your date (“2nd date,” or “friend” or “business”). When two singles indicate the same level of interest, we email you both with contact information within 24 hours.
