About this event
Are you an ally? Are you curious about how you can write about race as someone less affected by it?
How can allies tackle race when it sometimes seems to be the elephant in the room, triggering guilt and anger that seems unavoidable? I
In this workshop, participants will learn how to challenge misconceptions around race, how to find the creative tools to create stories about their relationship with race, by giving humanity and respect to the stories around race you want to create.
The workshop is lead by Aude Konan, an experienced workshop leader who based her work on prioritizing the voices of underrepresented voices from different communities.
This workshop will focus on the participants’ experience around whiteness and how to better support communities of color.
