About this event
In this workshop, you'll be imagining your futures by looking back.
First, you will reflect on things you learnt in 2023 and then think about what you hope to learn and achieve in 2024. We will then imagine a future through scripting - this is a form of imaginative journaling about a future but writing as if it has already happened.
If there is enough time, we will create a mini vision board to visualise this future!
The facilitator will be providing some materials such as paper, pencils and watercolours for those who may not have anything to journal with or prefer to express themselves without words.
They will also allow space for people to take their time on a task if they feel they need more time, this will include a written version of the instructions distributed amongst participants if people find it easier to see the tasks written down.
Accessibility:
The Centre's accessibility statement is here.
Though the exercises are not meant to be triggering, the facilitator is aware that anything can be a trigger. They'll recommend free mental health resources that people can access if they wish
