Gossip keepers: a celebration and response to 'Turtlemen' by Andra Simons (2020 Copy Press).
The queer evoking of myth, family and folklore found in the work of Andra Simon's 'Turtlemen' will be explored by the author and guests.
'Turtlemen' was first published during the pandemic and here's an opportunity for the publisher, friends and readers to celebrate its second printing.
Invited contributors are Guy Harries, Cecile Malaspina, Olumide Popoola, Cherry Smyth, kitt price, Alan C Smith & Andra Simons.
A bout the author:
Andra Simons is a Bermudian writer and performer living in London.He studied theatre in Canada and had his first collection of poetry, The Joshua Tales (Treehouse Press), published in 2009. He has performed at numerous festivals and events.

Covid and monkeypox safety at the London LGBTQ+ Community Centre:
To keep our community safe, we ask that all visitors do not visit the centre if they are feeling any Covid-19 and/or monkeypox symptoms including headache, fever, sore throat, consistent cough, chills and unusual spots, scabs or ulcers.
You can wear a mask if you feel more comfortable. We also have masks and hand sanitiser available at the Centre.
