
About this event
Anthony, a 29 year old mixed European actor and cabin crew member, auditions for the reality TV show ‘Dream Island.’ The casting director immediately asks stereotyping questions, about his sexual orientation and consequently his taste in men.
The questions become darker and more disturbing, triggering a memory of a London house party, and a traumatic event in his life.
A fter the screening of the short, there will be a Q&A with the film's director, Yorgo, and London Friend.
A bout the film:
Trigger is an award winning LGBTQI+ short film that won Best International Film 'at the Fuse Film International Festival in Kingston. It has also been nominated at festivals in Mexico, Germany and the US.
Warning: This film contains scenes of sexual nature and drug use, that some viewers may find disturbing.

To keep our community safe, we ask that all visitors do not visit the centre if they are feeling any Covid-19 and/or monkeypox symptoms including headache, fever, sore throat, consistent cough, chills and unusual spots, scabs or ulcers.
You can wear a mask if you feel more comfortable. We also have masks and hand sanitiser available at the Centre.
