Join us for a tour of artist, Blkmoodyboi’s ‘Safely Trans Outside’ mural. The tour will be followed by a discussion with Blkmoodyboi and the LGBTQ+ centre team on the importance and challenges of reclaiming space today.
Blkmoodyboi (they/them) is a Non-binary Trans Afro-Indigenous self taught illustrator. They centre Black and Brown trans people in their art. Blk Moody Boi asks “what does it mean to be safe outside?” by sharing a message of solidarity. They also reflect on the experience of communities that must consider how they move in a space.
