About this event

Join us for one more sunset social with our friends over at BOLA beach tennis in Hackney...

It's basically padel on a beach, followed by drinks and music on beautiful riverside beach courts. This is our 5th social with these guys and it's safe to say we're obsessed with them x

From 2pm - arrive and enjoy a free Tenzing on us

From 2.30pm - we'll jump into groups and play some games on the courts. no experience needed, the coaches are amazing and really supportive

Drinks break, then we're running a knockout tournament where everyone will get paired up with people with similar interests and swap pairs a few times. everyones single, but there's no awkward love island energy lol x

Then enjoy an alcoholic or non alcoholic drink on us and chat with the rest of the group We're a small business and we absolutely bloody love what we do, if you have any questions please get in touch and please feel free to check out our reviews here!

See you there?

What's included in a Sunday Funday ticket? A Tenzing on arrival Your first beer / drink after matches

Of course all the beach tennis, followed by a social

What is beach tennis?

A combination of tennis, padel and beach volleyball, played on sand courts. Bola coaches are on hand throughout the session and the vibe is relaxed, fun and healthy competition.

What do I wear?

Beach tennis is best enjoyed barefoot, so whatever sports kit you feel most comfortable in and a jumper for the evening drinks. We’ve private hired the space, so if you'll be coming with a bag there is space to leave it but please kindly note these are not lockers that can be padlocked, they are open storage units x

I’m not athletic and don’t want to embarrass myself?!

The longest thing our founder Lucy has ever run is a bath lol, and she was able to vaguely hit the ball into a court every now and again (it was often the wrong court entirely x) but she went on a date to this venue and can confirm it’s amazing. There’s no pressure, the coaches are really encouraging and all abilities are encouraged, it is so much fun.

How do I get there?

It’s a short walk from Hackney Wick or a 20 minute walk from Stratford, it’s also on loads of bus routes. The address is Bola Beach Tennis, Basset Lane, Hackney Wick, E95EN, and the what three words location is ///tennis.cost.ropes
