About this event

To commemorate the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, on Saturday 26 November, we will open our doors just for all folk who identify within a community that centres on women. Non-binary siblings welcome!

A day packed with activities to connect with ourselves and our community from 11am to 5pm.

At 5.30pm, we'll end the day screening Rebel Dykes. Tickets for the documentary can be purchased here.

11 to 12pm - Yoga with Nat

Come to our yoga class with Nat for intuitive movement, fun flows with a peppering of challenge, Pranayama and down-regulation.

1 to 2.30pm - Self defence workshop with Luca and Caroline

Caroline will talk about the legal definition of self defence and what one is allowed to do. Luca will show the most common strikes and escapes from holds and locks.

2 to 5pm - Sexual health info with Ludovica from Brook

3 to 5pm - Book Club: Watching Women and Girls by Danielle Pender

With a clear eye and dark humour, Danielle Pender considers sex, parenting, grief and class as lenses for the ways in which the world watches women ― and how women are always watching back.

3 to 5pm - Drawing workshop with Shika

A therapeutic, collaborative line drawing workshop. We will make a zine together.
