About this event
Queer Spiritual Explorers is an 8-week series of workshops on spirituality and queerness for LGBTQ+ people of all faiths or none. The series aims to give space for us to explore, discuss and express our ideas on faith and spirituality through guided discussions and hands-on workshops.
Each week will explore a different theme - helping us to build a fuller understanding of our collective experiences while also developing a personal practice through self-led home exercises.
Week 1: Establishing our queer journeys
Week 2: What is the spirit?
Week 3: Cultivating connection
Week 4: Community and belonging
Week 6: Outsiders and authority
Week 7: God (is gay)
Week 8: Our spiritual futures
Throughout the series participants will also be invited to co-facilitate exercises and guide the direction of the later sessions. This course is open to people of all faiths (and none) and is not aimed at promoting any faith, creed or beliefs.
