About this event

Together we will explore the work of photographers like Sunil Gupta, Nan Goldin, Peter Hujar, Wolfgang Tillmans, Ryan Mcginley, Herbert List, Yushi Li and Matt Lambert who explore the experience of being queer in their work.

In threes, attendees will make a reflector out of household items, and will emulate a photography set-up guided by Felix.

We'll explore the question "What does intimacy mean to you?", and will join Felix for a Q&A afterwards too.

About the organiser:

Felix Pilgrim (Bristol, 1992) is an award winning photographer whose work has appeared in British Vogue. His practice explores portraiture, performance and the queer experience. Drawing upon his background in theatre-making as well as growing up in a religious household, he is drawn to ritualistic, sacred and theatrical subject matter. His photo series, Hosts, looks at how queer people engage with the dating-app, Grindr.
