About this event
Queer Film Club presents Black Sheep (2015), directed by Reshel Shah.
A bout the film:
Black Sheep follows a group of transgender women in Mumbai.
From empathetic glimpses into their everyday lives, the narrative encapsulates a series of emotions these women go through and the ever-lasting bond made between director Reshel and the girls.
The documentary film will shine a light on these inspiring Hijras who have demonstrated the courage to go up against society's structures to fulfil their true destiny.
A bout Queer Film Club:
Queer Film Club hold monthly screenings at the London LGBTQ+ Community Centre.
After each screening, there will be a community chat to share and unpack our thoughts about the film.
