Join us for a 2-hour beginners workshop in British Sign Language.
Over the course of the workshop, you will learn some basic communication signs and about Deaf culture. It is open to all beginners and people who are interested in learning BSL and about Deaf culture.
About the organiser:
The workshop will be led by Janet Payne, a member of the Deaf community whose first language is BSL. She is qualified to teach levels 1-3 and strives to make learning BSL more accessible.
Accessibility:
The class is available to everyone aside from visually impaired/ blind people due to the size and adaptations of the class needed. The Centre's access statement is here. Please take a Covid-19 test before coming and don't come if you're feeling unwell. Thank you.
