Sam and Miles from Creative Mentor Network will be delivering a talk on the creative industries, and how you can be involved. Creative Mentor Network set young people up with mentors from companies such as Amazon Prime Video, Facebook, Lululemon, Soho House, Canon, Sony and many more creative companies.
This talk will give you an overview of what the creative industries are, the value of mentorship, and how you can be part of their free 16 week programmes.
Meet the organisers
Samuel Conley (he/him) - Outreach Manager & Safeguarding Lead
Having worked as a careers advisor and tutor in further education and alternative provisions since 2015, Sam is passionate about connecting young people with opportunities in the creative industries. He has made it his mission to aid in building meaningful bridges between education and employment, and works to open doors for young people who want to turn their love of creativity into a career.
Miles Zilesnick (he/him) - Senior Marketing Manager
Miles has worked in advertising for several years working for a range of digital and social agencies on brands such as BT, Nike and Marmite. Before joining CMN he took part in the Break The Wall programme, and has been part of a number of diversity programmes within the advertising sector.
