About this event
This is a workshop for dance beginners that will start with some simple line dances to introduce you to some basic steps. Line dancing is done on your own in lines which move around the room to the music.
Once everyone is happy dancing on their own we will try out some gender neutral partner dancing.
No partner is required and you can continue to dance solo or partner up. Usually in couple dancing one partner will ‘lead’ the dance and the other will ‘follow’ - as this is a gender neutral class we will learn a sequence where both lead and follow will be equal.
Note: This dance class will involve some light aerobic exercise. Participants should check they are able to do exercise to music.
