About this event
London is a city built on top of itself - join Daniel for a relaxed ramble through some of the oldest parts of the city.
Find the visible (and invisible) traces of 6,000 years of continuous human settlement by the river Thames, including sites of particular relevance to the history of LGBTQ+ communities in London.
This walk will be around three hours long, take a relaxed pace and have frequent breaks. We will be passing through areas with narrow streets and uneven pavements, and there may be some stairs.
This walk has been funded by Southwark Council's Southwark Pride Fund.
About the facilitator
Daniel is the Centre Manager at the London LGBTQ+ Community Centre.
