About this event

In Your Element is a wellbeing workshop series designed to support your self-care practices more deeply by connecting to the Elements of tarot (Fire, Water, Air and Earth).

You can join one of the workshops if you are particularly curious about connecting with a specific Element, or book the full workshops package to embark on a caring and transformative journey with the Elements, happening bi-weekly October - December 2022.

Upcoming workshops:

Workshop one: Activating your inner Fire softly - a fiery self-care spell

Fire leads us forward with passion. Fire is related to Wands in tarot and it is related to the astro signs Aries, Leo, and Sagittarius. It is a very active Element that can help us feel more energised and motivated.

During this fiery self-care spell, we will call in the passionate, values-driven and committed energy we need to expand space for self-care in our lives. We will also start preparing our self-care intentions for the upcoming New Moon in Scorpio, preparing us for a much quick and needed transformation.

Note: Bring pen and paper to jot down any reflections and insights! Simple spell materials will be provided, as well as a Fire self-reflective workbook to dive in after the workshop.

Workshop two: The power of transformation through feelings - supporting our wellbeing with

Water has a strong transformative power. Leading us with our emotions and feelings, it calls us to trust our intuition and lead with love and compassion. Water is represented by Cups in tarot and the astro signs Cancer, Pisces and Scorpio.

During this Water Ritual, we will explore how Water can support us navigating difficult moments with confidence. We will also call in soothing and nurturing energy to show ourselves the compassion we need for our self and collective care journey.

Note: Bring pen and paper to jot down any reflections and insights! Simple materials for the Ritual will be provided, as well as a Water self-reflective workbook to dive in after the workshop.

Workshop three: Curiosity as a portal to queer joy - daydreaming with Air

Air has an expansive, curious and adventurous energy. Helping us connect our values and ethics with our actions, Air is the kind of friend who always has a creative solution to challenges. Air corresponds to Swords in tarot and to the astro signs Libra, Gemini and Aquarius.

During this Air Spell, we will use daydreaming as a portal to queer joy - expressing utopias to start creating new attainable realities, this spell is here to make us dream big and bold to enhance and sparkle more joy in our lives.

Note: Bring pen and paper to jot down any reflections and insights! Simple materials for the Ritual will be provided, as well as an Air self-reflective workbook to dive in after the workshop.

Workshop four: Connecting to your inner anchor - Grounding with Earth

Earth in tarot shows us how important it is to have foundations and roots which we can rely on for our self-care. It teaches us how to create a sense of stability and safety in our lives, as well as how to lead with our pleasure in mind. Earth corresponds to Pentacles in tarot, and to the astro signs Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn.

During this Earh ritual, we will explore our inner anchors - a grounding tool we can access whenever we need it, but especially during chaotic moments. We will also reflect on what we need from the environments that surround us (home, work, communities) as well as on the supportive and generative boundaries we want to introduce and honour.

Facilitator:

Ambra (they/them) is an empathic witch supporting queer babes to disrupt burnout with anti-capitalist, magickal self-care.

Ambra creates a cosy and nurturing space for you to reflect and let your inner wisdom emerge through tarot, so that you feel understood and confident to take charge of your change.

Aside from self-care, Ambra loves to read on queer love, boundaries, polyamory, and anything supportive to our healing journeys.

Accessibility:

We will take breaks halfway through if needed, checking-in in advance if there is anything that would make people feel more comfortable and included.
