Sex, sensuality and sin.
For centuries fruits have been used to communicate some of these ideas. Now we’re going to do it in clay.
Come along for a playful afternoon of clay craft with Poppy, where we will be exploring fruity symbolism to create our very own juicy 3D tiles.
In this workshop we will be immersing ourselves in craft, learning modelling and painting techniques to produce our sexy slabs. We will be making from observation, touch, smell and even taste to communicate our experience through clay. Lets go banana’s, join us for a peely good time!
About the facilitator
Poppy Sheppard is a multimedia artist and educator currently working with young people and adults. She studied performance design and practice at Central Saint Martins and has since worker in film, theatre and fashion. Poppy is also an ambassafor the LGBTQ+ charity Just Like Us, where she gives school talks to young people.
