About this event
A relaxed session of flower arranging with some music in the background. Socialising with other creatively interested queers.
- Flowers and materials to construct your design are provided
- You may bring an intention of sharing and playing
- You are encouraged to bring a container to reuse your designs. Things like mugs, glass bottles and even a plastic bag could be an option
- You could forage or buy flowers to use. This is not required
This is not a crash course: it is a process of creating! Toyin teaches from a neurodiverse perspective, and so this is a learn-by-doing offering.
Everyone is encouraged to take part in our session. You can create slowly with support. You can sit and design. You can take breaks whenever needed. Toyin will be on hand to support adaptions and alternate options for creating.
About the facilitator:
Toyin (they/them) is a wellbeing florist. With a style that is fresh and soothing, they're keen that floristry becomes something for everyone. We all could use brightness and blooms in our lives.
Accessibility:
In the session, the facilitator will support people in making their designs if they find challenges with their hand/wrist motions.

Covid and mpox safety at the London LGBTQ+ Community Centre:
To keep our community safe, we ask that all visitors do not visit the Centre if they are feeling unwell including headache, fever, sore throat, consistent cough, chills and unusual spots, scabs or ulcers.
