About this event
In the Finding the Words workshop you will create poetry or prose from words and phrases cut out of magazines, articles, leaflets and photocopies. The material provided will be LGBTQ+ focused and you'll be supported to cut up and re-arrange the words to convey your own message or reflect your own experience.
At the end of the workshop, participants have the option to read their 'copy and paste' poems or prose out loud to the group.

Covid and mpox safety at the London LGBTQ+ Community Centre:
To keep our community safe, we ask that all visitors do not visit the centre if they are feeling any Covid-19 and/or mpox symptoms including headache, fever, sore throat, consistent cough, chills and unusual spots, scabs or ulcers.
You can wear a mask if you feel more comfortable. We also have masks and hand sanitiser available at the Centre.
