About this event
Often we believe that we don’t have the right to take up space or claim our own power from within, or together in community, as queer and trans people.
A drumbeat connects us with our heartbeat and allows us to access altered states of consciousness held in a safer space.
Adapted from the work of Starhawk, an activist and teacher of ecofeminist paganism, for queer and trans empowerment.
Afterwards we will have the opportunity to draw / write about our experiences and share in the group.
About the organiser
Rowan (he/they, @rowan_herne) is a Pagan practitioner and uses drum, song and meditation to connect with the divine.

Covid safety at the London LGBTQ+ Community Centre
To keep our community safe, we ask that you take a Covid test before coming the the Centre and stay at home if you're unwell.
You can wear a mask if you feel more comfortable. We also have masks and hand sanitiser available at the Centre.
