About this event

Evidence shows that LGBTQIA+ folk are disproportionately more likely to be harassed online, especially when speaking out and actively sharing their views.

We at Glitch think it's just as important that people are able to take care of themselves online as offline, and create and maintain joyful online spaces.

This workshop will support you to:

  • Learn more about online abuse and its many forms
  • Think about what makes an online space joyful for you
  • Think about your own boundaries when it comes to sharing online
  • Take practical steps with advice and tips to introducing balance and confidence to your online spaces

“The tools I learnt mean the difference of continuing to share important work and connect with people without being a target of constant abuse. It has made a huge difference. It has helped me to stay present online in a way that is safe for me.”- Workshop Participant, 2020
