About this event

A special edition of community meditation that will begin with a Yoga Nidra body scan and move into an immersive sound sequence working vibrationally to draw attendees into a deeply relaxed state.

If it feels okay in your body, we will be lying down for this practice. Mats are provided but we encourage you to bring a blanket!

This kind of practice works by activating the parasympathetic nervous system and inducing predominant brainwaves states of alpha and theta, here lies the potential to rest and repair ourselves, gain insight into life direction, reduce anxiety and depression, lower blood pressure, release physical tension, lower stress levels and boost our immune system.

I mportant information:

Sound meditation is not recommended for people under 3 months pregnant; people currently being treated for schizophrenia, paranoid schizophrenia, bi-polar disorder, or any other serious mental health condition; people who have seizures or any other condition triggered by sound; or who have had metal implants fitted within the last year

By booking I confirm that:

  • I am over 16 years old.
  • I am not less than 3 months pregnant.
  • I have not had any metal implants fitted within the last year.
  • I do not have seizures and do not knowingly have any other condition which is triggered by sound.
  • I'm not currently being treated for schizophrenia, paranoid schizophrenia, bi-polar disorder, or any other serious mental health condition.

  • I understand that the sound relaxation sessions may have a therapeutic effect but are not a substitute for any orthodox or holistic treatment I am receiving at present and/or medication I am taking at present.
