It's Bonfire Night weekend, and we wanted to throw a relaxed social on Sunday evening, where we can all be in bed by 10 pm if we want to, or stay out later depending on how serious any Monday morning meetings are looking lol x
Not at a big, crowded fireworks night surrounded by couples, but instead at a fun venue nearby from some of the organised displays, where we're hoping we might get lucky and see a bit of the sky light up.
We're testing both a new style of evening, but also a new dating format, and we'd love for you to join us.
Where: Tamesis Dock, a beautiful boat on the Thames, a ten-minute walk from Vauxhall station
What's the plan: arrive from 5.30, grab a drink, and we'll introduce you to some new people
6pm ish - we'll be testing a new dating format, where you go on 3 short dates with 3 people you're compatible with
It's not even vaguely speed dating. The thought of having 5 minutes to pitch yourself to 20 different strangers sounds more like a job interview than a fun evening.
Instead, it's 3 different, 10-minute chats with a new person each time, then a chance to meet everyone else on the boat.
We do all the science and organising, you just grab a drink and have a few chats.
7pm - a local firework display kicks off and whilst we can't promise anything, we're hoping we see some sparks!
9.30ish - we'll start to wrap up the evening but equally, for those who want to continue, the boat will stay open!x
We have some indoor and some outdoor space, so we recommend dressing for bonfire night and we'd love to have you join us!
