About this event
To celebrate Ace Week (previously Asexual Awareness Week), we will run an exhibition to showcase the diverse ace/aro experiences.
We want to share the multifaceted a-spec experiences through stories from the community, to combat the misconceptions that there is only ONE ace experience.
Exhibition details:
Duration: Oct 27 – Nov 11 2023
Venue: London LGBTQ+ Community Centre, 60-62 Hopton St, London SE1 9JH
Social events:
- Opening and Welcome – Friday 27 October at 3pm-5pm
- Closing and socials! – Saturday 11 November at 6pm-8pm (Eventbrite details coming soon!)
Learn more about the a-spec identity and mingle with other aces!
The exhibition is open to EVERYONE, regardless if you identify as asexual, aromantic, curious, questioning, an ally, or just curious to know about asexuality.
We will launch the exhibition with cake, garlic bread, and socials.
(This event is introvert-friendly too, as the organisers themselves are introverts and won't force you into any conversations you don't wanna have!)
Pictures and videos may be taken during the event for documentation purposes, but you may opt out of it by approaching the organisers!
