NYE Singles Party | Coupled-Up Friends Welcome 🥂✨
Single? Come mingle. Taken? Join your single friends for a night to remember!
See in the new year with Single Strangers at Burdall’s Yard, home of BLOC (Bath Laboratory Of Culture), Bath an evening of dancing, new connections and midnight celebrations. 🪩
Welcoming all sexualities and all ages 18+, with colour-coded wristbands to help you see who’s open to meeting whom. Come solo, bring a wingmate or round up your friends!
🕥 Last entry: 10:30pm. Arrive early to enjoy the full evening of music, mingling and celebrations!
Here’s what’s in store:
🎧 DJ & dancing Expect crowd favourites, throwbacks and party anthems to keep you dancing into the new year.
🥂 Midnight fizz included Your ticket includes one glass of fizz or a non-alcoholic alternative for our midnight toast. Meet in the courtyard at 11:30pm to collect your glass in time for the countdown!
✨ Sparklers, weather permitting We’ll be adding a little sparkle to the celebrations with sparklers in the courtyard, subject to weather conditions and staff guidance.
🍿 Nibbles to keep you going Light nibbles, including crisps, will be available during the evening. These won’t replace dinner, so we recommend eating before you arrive—then joining us ready to celebrate!
❤️ Coupled-up friends welcome Your friends don’t need to be single to join the fun! They can book a Taken / Supporting Friend ticket and celebrate alongside you. Taken guests will receive a red wristband, making it clear who’s single and who’s there as a wingmate.
🌈 Colour-coded wristbands Choose the wristband that best reflects your sexuality or who you’re open to meeting: Straight, Gay, Open to All, or Taken (red). They’ll be on a table on arrival with a clear colour guide - simply help yourself to whichever suits you best!
They help take the guesswork out of introductions and make approaching someone a little easier. Please always check interest and respect everyone’s boundaries.
📱 Capturing the celebrations We may take photos and short videos during the evening to share across Single Strangers’ social media channels and promote future events. We’ll focus on capturing the atmosphere and avoid identifiable faces where possible. If you’d prefer not to appear, please let our team know on arrival so we can take care to keep you out of our content. Please be considerate of other guests when taking your own photos and videos too.
✨ Dress to impress It’s NYE - the perfect excuse to dress up! Sparkles, suits and your favourite party outfit are encouraged, but wear whatever makes you feel your best.
Everyone is welcome: Our audience is predominantly straight, but guests of all sexualities are welcome to join the celebrations. This is an organic mingling event, so we can’t guarantee who you’ll meet.
💬 Organic connections This is a relaxed mingling event, so you’re in charge of who you meet and connect with. If you hit it off, remember to swap details on the night - we don’t share guests’ contact information or arrange exchanges after the event.

- 18+ only: Please bring valid photo ID.
- Last entry is 10:30pm: Please plan your journey so you arrive in good time.
- Included drink: Your glass of fizz or non-alcoholic alternative is for the midnight toast. Additional drinks are available to purchase at the bar.
- Food allergies: Ingredients and allergen information will be displayed beside the snacks. Please check this information before eating, particularly if you have a food allergy or intolerance. If you’re unsure, please ask our team.
- Security: Security will be present throughout the event.
- Lighting: There will be flashing lights.
- Accessibility: Access arrangements for our event space are awaiting confirmation. If you have accessibility requirements, please contact Burdall’s Yard (BLOC) before booking to check that the space and facilities meet your needs.
- Refunds: No refunds for cancellations or non-attendance.
