Join Lesbirun for a day of connection and adventure in the rugged beauty of the You Yangs. This moderate 7.5km return hike winds through native bushland and granite ridgelines, offering panoramic views of the volcanic plains, distant ocean, and dramatic rock formations unique to this landscape.
We will be hiking a combination of:
Flinders Peak – 3.2km return starting from the Turntable carpark, this walk takes you to the highest point of the You Yangs. There are 450 steps and some sections with steep gradients.
The East-West Walk – 4.5km return starting and finishing at the Turntable carpark, this walk provides excellent views of the park and surrounding countryside.
We will be having a picnic in between so please make sure to bring some lunch!
